Welcome to our one-of-a-kind 1972 Hobbit House, nestled on 3.5 acres of picturesque bluffs, offering a unique blend of comfort and seclusion. Tucked away in a charming cul-de-sac surrounded by lush trees, you’ll feel as though you’ve stepped into a tranquil, far-off haven, but please note, we do have neighbors in sight on one side who you will rarely see.
This is not your typical home; it’s an architectural relic, a Bermed Earth Home, recognized by the Wisconsin Historical Society, and affectionately known as the Hobbit House. A magical manipulation of space, plumbed perfectly in nature. No day or time of day looks the same in this under-world. An interactive kaleidoscope to live and sleep under the stars within. Deer, Eagles, wild turkeys, pileated wood peckers, coyotes, and raccoons frequent the area.
